If you are going on an outing and wish to be hands-free, how about a cute bandana backpack to contain your belongings? It’s a “cinch” to make 😉
Sometimes, we don’t need to carry a big purse with a lot of stuff. I’m thinking about those casual days at farmer’s markets, yard sales, outdoor festivals. And then there’s the kids. Couldn’t they use something to hold a bottle of water, some tissues and extra sunscreen or hat?
Just grab a couple of bandanas and in a few minutes at the sewing machine, you can whip one of these string bags up as a convenient carry-all.
The Kim Six Fix is here to show us how it’s done. We are thinking these would be a great gift idea. Or make some in coordinating colors for siblings or a small team. So many possibilities!
Here’s your materials list to make this adorable Bandana Backpack:
- Two bandanas
- 1/2 yard of fabric for the lining
- 4 yards of paracord for the drawstring
- Two 3/8″ grommets
- A grommet setting tool (can be found at your local fabric shop)
