Have you ever wanted to eat a photograph? You will when you see the recipe for this BLT Lettuce Wrap. This low carb lunch has our mouths watering!
Now, who doesn’t love a good BLT? It’s such an old classic, that we sometimes forget how easy and delectable it is. But, this recipe from Jackie’s Happy Plate has got my attention! First off, it’s low carb. Few outrageously delicious dishes are, so I will take a good recipe hack that helps me cut down on the bread. This is also a great one for gluten-free folks. Try adding some sliced avocado for some creamy, healthy fat.
Second, Jackie is an award winning food photographer, and her shots of this meal seriously have me in a bit of a bacon trance. I can’t get over how gorgeous the food looks and I honestly want to just grab that wrap right off the screen. In addition to being a photographer and cook, Jackie is a columnist for FoodNetwork.com and has written her own food book, Sprinkles!. Check out her bio, here, and get to making one (or two) of these wraps for your next quick and easy meal!
