You Can Drink Your Favorite Candy Bars With These Candy Bar Hot Chocolate Recipes
You can drink your favorite chocolate candy bars when you enjoy a cup of candy bar hot chocolate. Sipping a cup of hot cocoa won’t be the same after you get a taste of yummy peanut butter or almonds and coconut to go with it. Thanks to FavFamilyRecipes for these cups of heaven.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 c. unsweetened hot cocoa powder
- 1/2 c. granulated (white) sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/3 c. boiling water (I heat it for 90 seconds in the microwave in a glass measuring cup)
- 3 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. heavy cream (or half and half)
Almond Joy Hot Chocolate:
- 1 Tbsp. Cream of Coconut (not coconut milk), or to taste
- 1 tsp. amaretto syrup ( here is what it looks like)
- whipped cream, to taste
- chocolate syrup, to taste
- toasted coconut flakes, to taste, for garnish
Reese’s Hot Chocolate:
- 1 Tbsp Reese’s peanut butter (other peanut butter is fine, the Reese’s kind is best though)
- whipped cream, to taste
- chocolate syrup or butterscotch syrup, to taste
- Reese’s peanut butter cups, crumbled or chopped, to taste for garnish
Twix Hot Chocolate:
- 1 Tbsp. caramel topping, or to taste
- whipping cream, to taste
- caramel and/or chocolate topping, to taste
- 2 Twix bars
