Whether you live near the water or just wish you did, how about breaking from the traditional with your pumpkin decor? This coastal pumpkin celebrates fall and sand between the toes at the same time.
Although oranges, reds, yellows and browns are typically the hues of the season…rules are meant to be broken, right? If you are an ocean-lover or are lucky enough to live near the water, why not dedicate at least one pumpkin to your favorite seashore spot.
Keeper of the Cheerios has a beautiful design for a pumpkin that celebrates the beach and all the things we love about it. Sand, shells, sparkly blues and greens. In her tutorial, she shows us exactly how she does it and how you can too!
Here are the supplies that you need:
- Pumpkin
- Glitter blast spray paint (I used Sapphire shimmer and Sparkling waters)
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Sea Shells, Starfish and other embellishments
- Hemp or twine
- Spray Glue or other glue
- Sand
- Scissors
- White spray paint (to give your pumpkin a base coat)
