I know I’m not alone in my frustration with folding a fitted sheet. They come perfectly packaged but they never ever look like that again. I’ve tried multiple techniques to master this art form, including enlisting my equally frustrated husband to help. That’s when I turned to the internet. Thankfully, our friends at Porch have come up with a simple 5 step tutorial. I can’t believe how easy they make it!
So here’s the breakdown for how to fold a fitted sheet in 5 simple steps:
Step 1: Fold the sheet in half
Step 2: Turn the corners of your top layer inside out and tuck into the bottom layer. Make sure the corners and seams line up.
Step 3: Fold the sheet again and repeat this inside out/tucking process
Step 4: Fold the sides in to make a rectangle
Step 5: Fold like you would a normal sheet and admire your great work!
