Oreo Cream Cheese Is A Dip, A Frosting, A Filling…And We Can’t Get Enough!
Talk about a versatile recipe! This Oreo Cream Cheese Dip is that and so much more. Dip into it, fill with it, frost with it. So many uses!
Folks, I am here to tell you that if you have an Oreo fan in your midst, this recipe needs to be on stand-by. My brain is spinning, thinking of all the ways that this recipe can be used to create luscious confectionary delights. Cathy at Lemon Tree Dwelling is bringing you the basic recipe, which she is using as a dip and takes just 5 minutes to whip together. I love the idea of the tart and juicy sweetness of the strawberry, combined with the crunchy, tangy creaminess of the dip. We are also thinking about dipping a banana in this and are about to go nuts!
But don’t stop there! Use this as a filling for a cake or whoopie pies. Or as a frosting layer of an ice cream cake or pie. Or as a frosting for a cake or cupcakes. You just might want to try adding a little more powdered sugar if you need a stiffer frosting consistency.
I’ll bet some of you creative bakers out there have even more ideas! I’m going to make a big batch and just see what else I can come up with!
